Privacy Policy

Overview
QR Gen is a free QR code generator that prioritizes your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect (very little) and how we use it.
QR Code Data
QR Gen generates all QR codes entirely in your browser (client-side). The content you enter — URLs, WiFi passwords, contact details, or any other data — is never sent to our servers. We do not collect, store, or have access to the content of your QR codes.
Cookies
We use a single functional cookie to remember your cookie consent preference. If you accept advertising cookies, Google AdSense may set additional cookies to show relevant ads. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings at any time.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This includes anonymous data such as page views, browser type, device type, and approximate location (country level). This data helps us improve the site and is not used to identify individual users.
Advertising
We may display ads through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings (ads.google.com/settings).
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google Analytics (site analytics), and Google AdSense (advertising). Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Children's Privacy
QR Gen is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
